Dan Campbell Junior Golf Academy Program Overview

November 2016-October 2017

The Dan Campbell Junior Golf Academy features 4 levels of programming that will suit any level of player. Based on age, maturity, experience, goals and skill the instructors at the DCJGA will place students accordingly. Our three year round programs feature both golf instruction as well as workouts with a fitness trainer who focuses on age-appropriate workouts.

Junior Elite Program (JEP)

The Junior Elite Program (JEP) is a year-round comprehensive training program geared around the highly motivated and focused junior golfer who aspires to play at the collegiate level. Members of the JEP train at the Academy on average three times per week and over 200 hours per year. In order to be considered for the JEP, a student must be between the ages of 14 and 18, competing in tournaments and have a goal to earn a college scholarship.

Junior Elite Preparation Program (PREP)

The Junior Elite Preparation Program (PREP) is also a year-round comprehensive training program that offers opportunity to our widest range of students. High School aged students have are provided a place to grow their skill and love for their game even if college golf is not the goal. Our Middle School aged PREP students are competing on a local and national level. They are driven to move into the JEP as they physically mature and their skill advances. Members of the PREP train at the Academy on average twice per week and over 150 hours per year.

Future Elite Program (FEP)

The Future Elite Program (FEP) is also a year-round comprehensive training program that is designed for young junior golfers who are taking up the sport and developing their love for the game. Members of the FEP are between the ages of 6 and 12 and as their skill and interest grows, they naturally progress into the PREP. The FEP meets on average 6 hours per month, including both golf and fitness training sessions, and over 70 hours per year.

Future Elite Program 2.0 (FEP)

The Future Elite Program 2.0 (FEP) is a seasonal training program that is designed for young junior golfers who are taking up the sport and developing their love for the game. Members of the FEP are between the ages of 6 and 12 and as their skill and interest grows, they naturally progress into the year round FEP program or directly into the PREP. The FEP 2.0 meets three times per month in the months of November-May. This program is golf instruction only whereas the FEP has both golf instruction and workouts.
