Academy student Carolyn Fuller qualifies for Junior Worlds with scores of 75 /71. Carolyn hit 14 and 15 greens over the two days of competition.
Carolyn has worked very hard changing her golf swing these past 9 months. Hard work pays off.

Carolyn is a University of Colorado commit for fall 2023. WE COMING!! Go Buffs!!

Congratulations to long time student Roger Brown who had a hole in one on #7 lower course at Whisper today, along with a score of 67!!!

Roger beat his age by 11 shots!!! My calculator says that he’s 78..👏👏

Riley has been fighting a very positive swing dire

Riley has been fighting a very positive swing direction and club path causing blocks and hooks. Since his last event he’s worked hard to neutralize his golf swing so he can start the ball more on line and see less curve…great work Riley!

Mache has used his spring break to really understa

Mache has used his spring break to really understand how to shape and create ball flights that he desires. At the start of the week he could not execute a slight draw because the picture in his mind was not clear enough to tell his body what to do. Mache spent the week in thought, creating a clear picture and at the end of the week he is executing a slight draw to perfection! It’s not always about how many balls you hit. Sometimes it’s about understanding! Well done Mache!!

I enjoyed meeting James Hahn (a great guy) and discussing long putter mechanics.

This was his “first time” working with a semi, and long putter. James adapted so fast to it that he is considering putting the long putter in play next week on the PGA Tour. World class talent after 30 yrs of coaching never ceases to amaze me.

I really enjoyed the left arm and hand position discussion, and the role they play in the release, “or not” releasing of the putter.

Good luck next week James!!

Worked on hitting low cuts to stabilize face through impact. Still find it amazing how the body reacts to what the 👀 see, and what the body does to accommodate.
Check out these before and after hand positions (quiet vs active) relative to just trying to hit a shot shape.

Sometimes hitting golf shots/shapes can create world class mechanics..

Have always enjoyed helping one the all time great guys of the PGA Tour, now PGA Senior Tour player Tim Herron. Been to long Tim!!

Worked on neutralizing his spine at address, along with right leg angle at set up to help him get easier left side rotation through impact..

Check out the reaction of the hands after impact as a reaction to better rotation. Don’t over look the simplicity of set up 🔑’s!!

January 2023 brought our Academy a change we haven

January 2023 brought our Academy a change we haven’t had in 14 seasons here in the valley of the sun. Our tenure ended at our previous location and we are excited to announce that we have moved to @dovevalleyranchgc just a few miles away. DVR has welcomed us with open arms and they have made it possible to continue to teach, coach and be a part of the Cave Creek community. We are excited about this new opportunity and thank everyone involved, especially those who have supported us through this process. 2023 is going to be our best year yet! Congrats to Carolyn Fuller for officially signing with the University of Colorado! Carolyn showed up at the Academy as a 10 year old, worked super hard and stayed consistent to the process over the past 8 years. We are all very proud of you and can’t wait to see what you do next!
